This is a plenum/plug fan - the wheel and motor sit straight inside the air handling unit, with no scroll housing around them. That shows up in three practical ways: it takes less plant space, the airstream is smoother, and the cartridge pulls out for service without disturbing the ductwork.
YUWA covers the 400-630 mm wheel sizes and moves about 1,000-24,000 m3/h against 0-2,500 Pa. For a fresh-air unit or AHU that spans most standard commercial boxes; the bigger wheels come in when filters and coils push the resistance up.
Why it's EC
The motor and speed controller are a single unit, so there is no external VFD to wire or panel. Demand-based control is built in - VSP, 4-20 mA, PWM and RS485 are all supported - and the fan follows a thermostat, CO2 sensor or BMS signal instead of running flat out. On a unit that runs long hours, that is where the electricity savings actually come from.
