The SYZ reaches you as an impeller assembly, not a finished fan on a base frame. That matters if you are building your own AHU, retrofitting an existing cabinet, or replacing a wheel that has worn out - you fit the double inlet forward multi-blade centrifugal impeller straight onto your unit's motor mount, and the casing and ductwork stay yours. It comes from Midi Industrial's central air-conditioning line, sized for the low-pressure air movement that packaged AC systems need.
Why the double inlet
Air drawn from both sides of the wheel buys volume without diameter. For a cabinet whose internal width is fixed, that is the practical difference: a double-inlet forward wheel moves more air than a single-inlet wheel of the same size, and the forward-curved blade shape keeps running noise gentle at low to medium static pressure. Direct drive removes the belt and pulley from the stack, so the assembly stays short and you have nothing to tension or replace later.
Choosing a size
Measure the available section in your cabinet before picking a 6-inch versus 12-inch wheel - the direct-drive assembly has its own axial length, and it needs clearance for the motor end. Cabinet builders place the SYZ in packaged AC units, AHU enclosures and ventilation boxes across commercial buildings, schools and shops. Contractors and HVAC fan manufacturers use it when a replacement wheel or a custom-built unit calls for a compact, low-maintenance impeller, and Midi Industrial can match the diameter to the airflow and pressure target you provide.

Impeller Diameter: 6-12 in
Air Volume: 800-5000 m³/h
Pressure: 0-500 Pa
