Chillers and heat pumps reject their heat with an axial fan over the condenser coil; the AXF is the fan built for that machine. Axial wheels push air straight through - no scroll, no centrifugal turn - which gives large airflow at low pressure, exactly what a coil needs rather than what a duct system needs. Impeller diameters run 710-950 mm, airflow 10,000-35,000 m3/h, pressure up to 300 Pa, motor power 1,500-4,500W. The fan sits on the outside of the equipment, so the wide ambient range matters.
Control in the refrigeration cycle
Condenser fans do not run at one fixed speed. The EC motor accepts VSP, 4-20mA, PWM and 485 signals, so speed follows condensing pressure, discharge temperature or a thermostat and drops when the load eases. Motor and controller are integrated; no external VFD is required. Insulation grade F, working temperature -40 C-65 C - the low end covers cold-season starts, the high end stands up to coil-side heat on hot days.
Typical fits
Air-cooled chillers and heat pump units are the stated application; you will see these fans on rooftop and outdoor-mounted condenser sections in commercial air-conditioning. The 300 Pa pressure value means the fan is sized for coil, guard and weather-protection resistance only - do not pair it with long ducted branches that need static pressure.
