The YPFB Direct-Drive Centrifugal Plug Fan is the straightforward member of Midi Industrial's central air-conditioning lineup: an unhoused, direct-drive cartridge aimed at standard-duty handlers where simplicity, easy replacement and a wide sizing spread matter more than a specialized blade profile.

Why plain direct drive
Motor and impeller sit on a common drive line with no belt, no pulley and no tensioning point. That keeps the assembly short inside the cabinet and leaves fewer components to inspect year after year. The wheel uses a conventional centrifugal form rather than the wing airfoil shape reserved for the higher-efficiency, higher-volume models - weigh that against your noise and efficiency targets before you specify it. The cartridge pulls out on rails for service, so filters and the drive can be reached from the AHU side without dismantling the ducts.

Selection note
Before ordering, lay out the AHU section length, the rail load and the service withdrawal path; compare the 250 mm lower end for compact cabinets against the 1,250 mm top size for larger handlers. The YPFB fits central air-conditioning units, air handling cabinets and ventilation systems in commercial and light-industrial buildings. If your duty calls for the wing airfoil and the higher pressure ceiling of the range, that sibling model should be checked instead; otherwise this plain plug fan covers the usual central AC airflow band reliably for HVAC fan manufacturers and contractors.
