The SYD in brief
Where the SYT tops out around 50,000 m3/h, the SYD goes further: up to 100,000 m3/h across 180-1000mm wheel diameters, still on a double-inlet forward multi-blade wheel and belt drive. This is the larger sibling for big air handling units and central stations that serve multiple floors or whole zones. The forward-curved blade shape keeps airflow high at the low to medium pressure most supply systems actually run at, while the double inlet shortens the machine against a given duty.

Why belt drive matters here
On a fan this size, a belt drive gives you room to tune the duty point after installation. Change the pulley ratio and the wheel speed changes to match the airflow and pressure your system settles at once filters are loaded. The motor is mounted outside the air path, on a slide rail, so belt tension can be adjusted without disturbing the wheel. Plan for periodic belt inspection and eventual belt replacement - that is the maintenance trade-off against direct drive, and it keeps the larger motor easy to reach.
