YGZES-E — EC Duct Fan

Most duct fans spend their life hidden in a ceiling void, which means nobody cares what it looks like - they care that it fits, stays quiet and does not keep needing service. The YGZES-E fills that niche: a compact inline duct fan with an EC motor, built for duct and silent air supply and exhaust in ventilation and air-conditioning systems.

Design notes
The whole motor and impeller sit along the duct centerline, so the unit slots between duct sections without a big plenum around it. The EC drive is integrated, which removes the external VFD from the electrical scope. Speed follows VSP or PWM signals; those are the two control options this series offers, so match the signal available in your BMS before ordering. Class B insulation and a -25 C to 45 C ambient range cover the usual indoor ventilation environment.

Typical fits
It lands in commercial ventilation runs: offices, retail shops, schools and light industrial rooms, supplying fresh air or pulling stale air through concealed or exposed ductwork. Because the unit is short in length, it works where a cabinet fan would not leave enough room between two duct bends.

What to check before mounting
Measure the duct diameter against the 7-12 in wheel range and confirm the duct resistance stays inside the 0-600 Pa pressure band. Plan an access door or removable duct section so the unit can be pulled for inspection without dismantling the whole run. Keep the mounting brackets clear of the filter and coil access so service staff can reach both sides.
